Hops are a plant added by GrowthCraft. They grow on a vertically situated Rope above tilled farmland. When a fully grown Hops bush is right-clicked or broken, it will drop Hops. They are added to ale in the Brew Kettle.
Farming Hops[]
Hops are not planted in tilled farmland like normal crops; instead, they require a multiblock structure made out of Rope and Fence Posts. First, place two parallel fence posts on dirt, with at least a one block space between them. The ground between them should be level dirt. Stack the fence posts four or five blocks high and connect each Z-level with a rope. Till the earth between the fence posts and place a water-source to keep it hydrated. The player can now plant the Common Hops Seeds on the tilled earth.
Hops farms can be found in village fields along with Grapes; they can also be traded for with a villager added by GrowthCraft.
Hops can be crafted shapelessly into Common Hops Seeds.
