The ?-Block is a block added by Mario Mod 2. It spawns randomly throughout any dimension other than End at y levels dependent on the world type. In a default world, it generates between heights 3 and 85, while in an Alternate Terrain Generation world it generates between heights 3 and 127. Inside the ?-Blocks are a random Super Mario item. The item can be obtained by either breaking the block or by jumping into its bottom face.
Removing the item transforms it into an Empty ?-Block.
There are 5 different styles of ?-Blocks that all share the same items.
