Advanced Machines is an addon for the IndustrialCraft 2 mod. It was originally created by Zippinus, then later updated and rewritten by AtomicStryker. Immibis wasn't happy about the way that AtomicStryker implemented the machines so made his own version, which was then ported and continued by Chocohead after Immibis retired from developing it.
Advanced Machines currently adds eight electrical machines to IndustrialCraft 2 that enhance the production of materials. Upgraded versions of the Macerator, Compressor, Extractor, Recycler, Ore Washing Plant and the Metal Former. A further four are planned for upgraded forms of the Canning Machine, Thermal Centrifuge, Blast Furnace and Fermenter.
