Blocking policy

More than four years ago, I started working on a Blocking policy that was not complete. Just today, there has been a post on FANDOM's new blocking policies. The key takeaway from their announcement is that they don't want admins blocking people for stupid reasons. While this has not been much of a problem here, most bans are reasonable and there haven't really been any controversial bans since the pre-Gamepedia times, it also states that "Rules for your wikis must be defined and easily found. These rules must not violate Fandom’s Terms of Use or be overly restrictive." I see this request of something of a liability kind of thing for FANDOM in that I don't expect to them to clamp down on wikis that haven't done this (like ours), unless problems arise from said wikis. Seems like this is unlikely to be a major issue but it would be good to formalize our blocking policy regardless. Feel free to suggest any direction you think this policy should take, or just contribute to it directly since it's in a draft state right now. -Xbony2 (talk) 05:00, 18 February 2021 (UTC)

Tomodachi94 for admin

It's that time of the year folks! I nominate Tomodachi94. We haven't had a new admin since me, so this should be fun. He's had the Editor role since... 2020? He's done a lot of random documentation, maybe some translation, as well as filled in for some of the technical work that I haven't been doing, like tilesheet importing. He doesn't have a lot of edits tbh (1.5k) but I believe that he is competent, trusted, and well equipped to do administrative tasks. He will also be leading the fork. He is good at programming and stuff and I do believe he has the capacity to be an effective admin. Me and Retep don't really have as much capacity so having a third (fourth technically, but Santa is completely inactive) admin. -Xbony2 (talk) 00:29, 8 August 2023 (UTC)

Not a lot of votes, but it's been over a week and luckily there's no major opposition. Passes. -Xbony2 (talk) 19:22, 18 August 2023 (UTC)

Kirkus26 for Editor

Kirkus26 is an active translator who appears to mostly translate to Ukrainian. I ran a cursory check with DeepL and the translations appear to be good (though input from fluent Ukrainian speakers is appreciated). They have 2,932 edits, so activity is not a question. They could use a little more experience with marking up pages for translation, but other than that I believe this person is a good candidate for the Editor group. —Tomodachi94 (talk) 21:41, 25 March 2024 (UTC)
