Alternate Terrain Generation (ATG)是由TTFTCUTS制作的MOD,其主要功能是重制原版Minecraft的生物群系与世界生成系统。通过简单地选择ATG提供的新的世界类型即可启用重制的世界生成系统。在原版Minecraft中,生物群系的分布由随机数发生器 (Random Number Generator, RNG) 产生,地形则由生物群系来决定。

而在ATG中,地形则由其自动生成的高度、温度、湿度等数据来决定。此时,生物群系由地形决定。ATG的目标即是模拟现实世界,它通过随海拔提升而降低温度、使用积雪和冰、并使得远离海洋的地区更加炎热干燥来实现这个目标。

ATG同时支持EBXLBoP以及高地等MOD。换言之,其它MOD添加的生物群系在安装ATG后依旧会正常工作,但仍会受到原版ATG的生成规律之限制。
