As I tried to step into the void, the warp shimmered and seems to solidify. I walked face first into it, much to the amusement of my students. This effect seemed to prevent my teleportation abilities entirely. I had to turn this against Endermen as well.

Astral Distortion is a spell from Ars Magica 2. It prevents the target from teleporting by themselves via mob ability, Ender Pearl, Recall, Ender Intervention, Divine Intervention, and the likes. This does not affect external teleportation made by devices such as the Portal Gun and various Teleporters added by external mods.

Astral Distortion can be found in the Occulus's Offence tab, and requires a green Skill Point to be unlocked.

Modifiers[edit | edit source]

Astral Distortion's duration can be increased by using the following modifiers:

  • Duration: Up to three Duration modifiers can be use for a single spell. Each additional Duration modifier allows the time limit to be increased to 23, 52, and 116 second respectively.
  • Solar: Up to three Solar modifiers can be use for a single spell. The Solar modifier will cause the time limit to increase/decrease depending on the time of day. At noon, One Solar modifier would had increased the limit to 2:03 minute (At midnight, it'll deceases to 3 second). Two would increase it to 17:16 minute (At midnight, it'll deceases to 1 second). And three would increase it to 27:17 minute (At midnight, it'll deceases to 0 second).
  • Lunar: Up to three Lunar modifiers can be use for a single spell. The Lunar modifier will cause the time limit to increase/decrease depending on the time of night and the moon phase. At midnight with a full moon, One Lunar modifier would had increased the limit to 2:09 minute. Two would increase it to 4:23 minute. And three would increase it to 27:17 minute.
