Blink is a spell from Ars Magica 2. It will cause the target to teleport 12 blocks toward the direction it's facing.
If a wall is in the target's path then Blink will teleport the target past the wall, only if the wall is 9 blocks thick or less and is within Blink's range, otherwise the target's teleport will stop at the wall. The Nether's ceiling can be bypassed with this mechanic.
Modifiers[edit | edit source]
Blink's range can be increased by using the following modifiers:
- Range: Up to three Range modifiers can be use for a single spell. Each additional Range modifier increases Blink's range to 18, 22, and 27 blocks respectively.
- Solar: Up to three Solar modifiers can be use for a single spell. The Solar modifier will cause Blink's range to increase/decrease depending on the time of day. At noon, One Solar modifier will increase its range to 16 blocks, and 15 at midnight. Two increase it to 18 blocks, and 17 at midnight. Three increases it to 20 blocks, and 19 at midnight.
- Lunar: Up to three Lunar modifiers can be use for a single spell. The Lunar modifier will cause Blink's range to increase/decrease depending on the time of night and the moon phase. At midnight with a full moon, one Lunar modifier will increase its range to 21 blocks, and 15 blocks at noon. Two would increase it to 29 blocks, and 19 blocks at noon. Three would increase it to 36 blocks, and 20 blocks at noon.
