The Block Smasher is a block from MineFactory Reloaded that acts sort of as ore doubling methods from other mods do although this only applies to ore blocks which can benefit from Fortune. (e.g.: Redstone, Diamond etc...) In the interface, the player can choose up to Fortune III, although any ores processed above Fortune I will require power and Mob Essence.

Usage[]
Here are some Mob Essence usage, energy usage and extra output compared to normal mining:
Fortune I:
- 60mB of Mob Essence
- 150EU, 60MJ or 4.2KJ/ea.
- An extra mineral/dust for every 7-9 blocks processed.
Fortune II:
- 120mB of Mob Essence
- 150EU, 60MJ or 4.2KJ/ea.
- An extra mineral/dust for every block processed.
Fortune III:
- 180mB of Mob Essence
- 150EU, 60MJ, 4.2KJ/ea.
- An extra mineral/dust every 1.33.. blocks processed.
