Fake Water looks like vanilla Water but gives the player the same damage as Lava; about -3 hearts per second.
It can be used for farming, as Fake Water will irrigate Farmland.
Sealife can live in Fake Water, but the blocks will first have to be updated by placing something in them (Sea Pickle, Kelp, etc.). If you place a fish in non-updated Fake Water, that block will update, but the fish will die as soon as it comes into contact with the surrounding non-updated Fake Water.
Lily Pads can be placed on Fake Water after it is updated (see above). Carpets can be placed on Sea Pickles.
