The Continuum Bomb is a "weapon" added by Aether II. When thrown, it activates "party mode", which lasts for 5 seconds. During party mode, 9 fireworks will go up in random directions, each throwing a Continuum Orb, which when hit, spawns a random item (see: Continuum Orb#Drops for a list of these items).
