The Builders Wand [sic] is an item added by Extra Utilities 2. When a player holds it and looks at a block, it attempts to expand the block the player is looking at by one layer, given the player has enough of that block in their inventory. It shows the area that will be expanded/where blocks will be placed with a yellow wire-frame. The amount of blocks it will place is limited at nine blocks.
This item is extremely useful in buildings, where the player can place nine blocks at a time instead of having to place them one by one, which can be quite painful. It does not require any kind of energy nor does it have durability, so it can be used infinitely without any cost.
There is also a creative version of this item, called Creative Builders Wand, that does not use blocks from the player's inventory in order to expand the block by one layer, and has a higher limit of blocks that can be placed. It has an antithetical counterpart in the Destruction Wand.
