The Cyclic Building Scepter is an item added by Cyclic. It is meant to enhance and ease the process of placing blocks into the world. When the player holds it and it has blocks in its inventory, the Cyclic Building Scepter can use one of five modes to place the blocks from its inventory into the world. Holding shift and scrolling with the item in hand will switch between the modes. The block that will be placed next is displayed in the center of the modes indicator on the bottom left of the screen. This item can place blocks up to 63 blocks away from the player and will place blocks at the end of a sequence of blocks depending on the mode.

Mode

The Cyclic Building Scepter can switch between modes to alter the way blocks are placed from its inventory and to access its inventory.

Mode Icon	Description
Chest	Opens the Cyclic Building Scepter's inventory.
Up Arrow	Places the next block at the first empty space above the block being looked at.
Square	Places the next block normally at the block being looked at.
Down Arrow	Places the next block at the first empty space below the block being looked at.
Left Arrow	Places the next block at the first empty space to the left of the block being looked at.
Right Arrow	Places the next block at the first empty space to the right of the block being looked at.
