The Electrotine Generator is a machine added by Project Red. It is used to generate a maximum power of roughly 1000 W for the internal Electrotine Power system of Project Red. Compared to generators from other mods, the Electrotine Generator only produces energy out of Electrotine (see Usage).

If the mod MineChem is installed, the player can decompose the Electrotine Generator with the Chemical Decomposer into 64 Tin (Sn), 32 Copper (Cu), 16 Iron (Fe) and possibly some Kaolinite based on its clay content.

The Electrotine Generator can be connected via Low Load Power Line and/or Framed Low Load Power Line to the electrotine power network. Right-clicking on the machine opens the GUI which has three gauges and a slot on the right (shown in the picture). To produce energy for the network place Electrotine in the right-hand slot.

The gauge on the right shows the processing of the electrotine to energy. The gauge in the middle shows the internal energy storage of the generator. The Electrotine Generator can storage generated energy if the power network is full. The gauge on the left indicates the voltage which the generator feeds into the power network.

Without any energy consumers the Electrotine Generator generates a maximum voltage of 100 V in the power network out of Electrotine or draws it from the internal storage. At full capacity, it generates a maximum output of 62 V and around 16 A, which corresponds at a power of around 1000 W. After reaching this voltage and stabilization in the network, energy is transmitted to the consumer. If a new consumer is connected to the power network, the voltage decreases until a new equilibrium is reached in the power network. A minimum voltage of 50 V in the power network is required to operate one machine.
