The Elementium Axe is a tool added by the Botania mod. It can draw from a Mana Tablet or any other Mana providing item in the player's inventory instead of using the item's durability.
This axe has the same ability as the Manasteel Axe of which rightclicking it on dirt or grass will plant a sapling from the player's inventory. In addition to that, the axe can also function as a weapon, of which if used as the finishing strike, will have a chance to drop the head or skull of the hostile mob, or even other players.
