Fantastic Beasts and How To Eat Them, also known as Butchercraft, is a mod created by Lance5057. It is named after the Harry Potter book and movie "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them." It adds the ability to butcher animals in a way closer to butchery in real life. Animals killed using the Butcher Knife will drop a carcass of that animal, rather than simply pieces of meat. This carcass can be hung using a Meat Hook and butchered further into various pieces of meat, organs, and leather. It also adds ways to process the butchered meats, such as the Meat Grinder.
Presently, only cows can be butchered using this mod.
This mod was originally created as a submission for the ModOff competition.
