Cutting the toolbar in half

It's been discussed. Requesting for the bottom half of User:Xbony2/common.css (the stuff under the commented out part) to be merged with the common CSS. It's a bit more than copy-paste if you do it right, but I think you can figure it out. -Xbony2 (talk) 20:27, 2 October 2016 (UTC)

Spritesheet extension missing

The spritesheet extension we were using disappeared. To be honest I'd rather use multiple images than it anyway, since it's only used on Turbine (Advanced Generators); it doesn't have much of a benefit if any benefit at all, but it should be reinstalled or Turbine (Advanced Generators) should be fixed. -Xbony2 (talk) 23:21, 6 November 2016 (UTC)

Personally I don't see any reason you couldn't just make this into a standard template using the sprite sheet image as a background image for divs / table cells etc. with positioning adjustments or offsets made based on the tile selection code used. I usually do this by nesting an absolute-positioned div inside a relative-positioned container (either div or td) with expressions built with left and top offsets using a fixed size for the container being used as the viewport on the image. You use the image as either a background setting for the absolute positioned div, or simply include it inside that, while you set overflow to hidden for the relative part of the container. Sokratis' wikipoints balance

It is a deleted account. Although according to Special:WikiPointsAdmin, "It is not possible to manually award negative points. To remove points, check the box in the "Rev" column next to the points you wish to revoke and press "Save revocation"". -Xbony2 (talk) 23:02, 20 November 2016 (UTC)

Trip over this triple trouble

I propose the following users gain the Editor role: EdgeworthCatfish (for his contributions to Gendustry, Career Bees, and Extra Trees), Sven79HD (for his German translations and occasional other edits), and Qunynawy (for his Russian translations and occasional other edits). All are at least somewhat competent and trustworthy. as Editor, you are not committing to anything but it is a recognition of you as a trusted and somewhat decent editor, and you gain a few rights that normal users do not have that may assist you in editing (see Special:ListGroupRights). Adding German content

Hi Admins! I'm Admin of the German Minecraft Wiki where we have several mod articles. Now Sven79HD informed us that you have a German part in the FTB wiki: https://ftb.gamepedia.com/FTB_Wiki/de.

What do you think about moving our complete mod content to the FTB Wiki? (Of course only those articles which you would like to have.) The German MC Wiki would then create a mod navbox which would link directly to the FTB wiki an would mention the FTB wiki officially as source for Minecraft mod content. If you agree, I suggest that you (maybe Sven79HD) take what you want from our mod articles and after the transfer is finished you give us a note and we create our new mod navbox.

Unable to access old account

I suppose I missed something in the transition to Curse/Twitch and now I'm not able to access my old FTB Wiki account, Trunksbomb. It's tied to a different email that I also have control over, but which did not previously have a Twitch account (and now that it does, still does not have access to the old account info). I'm hoping to achieve one of the following, in order of hopefulness:

Regain access to the original Trunksbomb Wiki account
Or, move the edit history to this account, delete the old account, and rename this one to trunksbomb (ideally with a lowercase 't').

3tusk's resignation from Editor, Translation Reviewer and other roles (if any) in FTB Wiki

I am not exactly sure which page this should go to, but I choose this one because it fits best.

It has been a quite long time since last time when I contributed to the Official FTB Wiki. Initially, I was thinking that one day I would regain some enthusiasm and be able to translate articles as often as I used to do, but as time goes by, I realize that the possibility is becoming smaller and smaller - I do not have second choice for real-life things, after all. Even my time spent on translation of Minecraft mods in general have decreased.
Further, I consider Fandom's acquisition of Gamepedia as a negative signal. I am not sure where the Official FTB Wiki will go, but I still worry about Fandom's and CurseMedia's current moves.

As such, I would like to resign from all my roles here. It was a very exciting and memorable experience to contribute here, but I think it is the time to put a period to this.
