The Wither Upgrade is an item in Progressive Automation. It is used to increase the effective range of Progressive Automation machines. Unlike the other tiered range upgrades, the Wither Upgrade can be installed in any machine. However, only one Wither Upgrade can be installed in a machine.
When installed, the Wither Upgrade quadruples the range of the machine it is installed in. This range increase applies to all current and future upgrades.
When a machine is picked up with a PA Wrench, consumed upgrades are retained in it. When a machine is broken otherwise, all installed upgrades drop as items.
