Glass Phial (Thaumcraft 4)

The Glass Phial is a container added by Thaumcraft 4. It is only capable of holding 8 units of essentia at a time—no more, no less. Upon emptying the container into a Warded Jar or similar essentia-accepting receptacle the Phial is returned to the player.
Recipe[edit | edit source]
Usage[edit | edit source]
Phials can accept 8 units of any Essentia. Hovering the cursor over the filled phial will yield the Essentia it contains and the quantity in its tool tip unless the Aspect has not been discovered by scanning or combining aspects, in which case it will say "Unknown Aspect".
Right-clicking upon a Warded Jar or similar with a filled Phial will empty it's contents into that jar. Essentia cannot be mixed and must match the contents of both Jar and Phial unless the Jar or similar is empty.
Right-clicking upon a Warded Jar or similar with an empty Phial will fill it with the Jar's contents.
Right-clicking upon an Arcane Alembic containing Essentia with an empty Phial will fill the Phial with the Alembic's contents. This process is irreversible.
Throwing a filled phial into a boiling Crucible will fill the Crucible with eight units of Essentia the phial held, making it an excellent means of crafting with Alchemy. This will not return the Phial to the player.
