The Homeostasis Tube is a block added by Advanced Genetics in versions released for Minecraft 1.7.x. It can be used as an alternative to the Vanilla Bed with the extra ability to store the player's injected Genes when slept in.
It will act just like a Vanilla Bed, requiring two blocks of space and only allowing the player to sleep at night. Appearance-wise it appears longer and more futuristic than the Vanilla Bed.
A player can right-click the Homeostasis Tube to regain their Genes and abilities if they had died.

- The Homeostasis Tube can be broken instantly upon the player hitting it, this is known to happen in version 1.5.5 and is unknown for any previous or future versions.
- When broken and appearing as an item drop, the Homeostasis Tube will not rotate or bob up and down. This is known to happen in version 1.5.5 and is unknown for any previous or future versions.
