Invar is an alloy added and used by Thermal Expansion, GregTech 5 and Factory Tech.
Factory Tech
- As added by Factory Tech
GregTech
- As added by GregTech 5
Invar Dust can be crafted inefficiently by hand. 2 Iron Dust and 1 Nickel Dust will produce 9 Small Piles of Invar Dust (2.25 Ingots, a 25% loss of materials). Invar Dust can be crafted at full efficiency in the Mixer. Invar Ingots can be smelted in the Alloy Smelter or Steam Alloy Smelter from 2 Iron Ingots or Iron Dust and 1 Nickel Ingot or Nickel Dust.
Thermal Expansion
- As added by Thermal Expansion
Invar Blend can be crafted from 2 Iron Dust and one Pulverized Ferrous Metal. Invar Ingots can also be smelted in the Induction Smelter from 2 Iron Ingots or Iron Dust and 1 Ferrous Ingot or Pulverized Ferrous Metal.
Thermal Foundation
- As added by Thermal Foundation
Invar can be made in Thermal Foundation by mixing Iron and Nickel dust.
Then smelt the resulting blend into Invar ingots.
Or else, the invar ingots can be created directly in an Induction Smelter.
