Keys are a set of items added by Gregtech 6. They are used to provide security to Key Locked Safes. Keys can be placed in a Wooden or Metal Bookshelf where they will render as a fake book.
Crafted as *Blank* keys, the first time a stack of keys is used on a Key Locked block they generate a random long (64-bit) integer key code. Using a Blank Key on an open Key Locked block will instead copy the key code for that block. Both of these methods can be used to share group access.
