The Latchable lumar plates are blocks added by RedLogic which can be used as button and pressure plate by interactiong with redstone. The plates can be placed on the floor, wall and ceiling and there are 16 different colors (see below).
If a player presses or steps on the plates, it emits a redstone signal for Redstone, Red alloy wires, an adjacent circuit or other blocks/machines. The difference to the Lumar plates is the ability to lock the plates. The player can e.g. add a Lever to the block with the plate, and if the lever is activated the plate does not return to its initial position after pressing (the button does not send any signal in this position). Only if the lever is deactivate, the plate return to its initial position and can be pressed again.
With the Screwdriver and crouching the player can switch between following modes:
- Default: If the button is activated or a signal receives the plate, the light goes out
- Inverted: If the the button is activated or a signal receives the plate, the light goes on
- Always on: The light is always on
