The Machine Status Display Cover is a machine cover added by GregTech 6 that visually indicates the machine's Possible, Running, and Processing activity states, and allows the player to switch the machine on and off by right-clicking on the switch in the corner of the cover.

Usage[]
Machine Status Display Cover installed on a Smelter. This machine is switched off, and does not contain any ingredients.
The Display Cover's in-world interface consists of three indicator lights and a switch. Each light will turn red or green to indicate the respective activity state. The switch will turn green when the machine is switched on, and red when it is switched off. The activity state lights correspond with the outputs of the Activity Detector covers of the same name.
- Left: Indicates the Possible activity state. Turns green when the machine contains enough ingredients to begin processing, or is actively processing.
- Middle: Indicates the Running activity state. Turns green when the machine is receiving power.
- Right: Indicates the Processing activity state. Turns green when the machine is receiving power and is actively processing.
