The Menril Tree is a tree added by Integrated Dynamics. It spawns occasionally in the Overworld and abundantly in Meneglin biomes.

Menril trees grow additional logs around their base, similarly to roots, and their trunk will extend into a 3x3 cross where their leaves start. They require a 3x3 free area with dirt underneath with the sapling in the center in order to grow properly. Menril Leaves emit light and will occasionally drop Menril Berries, while Menril Wood blocks will sometimes be replaced by Enriched Menril Wood, which will drop normal Menril Wood and a Crystalized Menril Chunk when broken.

Menril Wood can be made into Menril Wood Planks, which can then be made into stairs or doors. It can also be processed in a Squeezer or Mechanical Squeezer into Menril Resin, making them the main source of Crystalized Menril.

Main article: On the Dynamics of Integration
You may occasionally encounter tall blue trees. Such trees are called Menril Trees, and have some very interesting properties. First, the leaves give off light. This is caused by the illuminating berries, which are also very tasty! Secondly, the nice-looking wood of the tree contains a lot of resin, which can be used for crafting most of the things in this mod.
