The Mining Well in BuildCraft is a machine that digs a one block hole straight down underneath it. It will stop once it reaches Lava or Bedrock.

Usage[edit | edit source]
Attach a power source to the Mining Well and it will begin drilling a one block hole beneath it. The Mining Well can be powered at maximum speed with 20 RF/t. Excavated blocks can be piped away with Transport Pipes or can be placed into an inventory directly next to the Mining Well.
