The Nature Guardian is a boss mob added by Ars Magica 2. It is able to use melee and ranged attacks. It appears as a scarecrow-shaped Oak tree and carries a Sickle as a weapon and a tall wooden shield.

The Arcane Compendium recommends that the player should be at a Magic Level of at least 60.

AM2 bosses cannot be cloned via MineFactory Reloaded's Auto-Spawner or captured via Safari Net.

Summoning[edit | edit source]

The Nature Guardian can be summoned by the cries of the Dryads—commonly found in Witchleaves Forest. Killing five in quick succession will be enough to summon the Nature Guardian.

Behavior[edit | edit source]

It has three different attacks focused on its weapon.

  • Melee- When the player gets within its melee distance, it will hit the player with its sickle.
  • Melee (Area of Effect)- When the player gets within its melee distance, it will spin and cause damage to everything within its range.
  • Ranged- If the player is outside its melee range, the Guardian will throw its sickle toward the player. The sickle has a boomerang effect and will return to its owner after it reaches a certain range.
