The Observatory is a multiblock machine added by Advanced Rocketry. It is used to collect Data for asteroid mining.

Power must be inserted by the structure's Power Input Plug.

Construction

The complete structure is 5x5x5 and requires (in addition to the Observatory):

  Glass or
  Lens
• 23 in any combination of:
  • 
    Block of Iron
  • 
    Power Input Plug or
    Creative Power Input Plug
  • 
    Data Bus
• 45
  Stone

Right clicking on the Observatory once the structure is assembled forms the multiblock. You can form this multiblock structure without a power input or data bus but it would be unusable. Using a lens instead of glass blocks will improve the observable range. Higher tier motors will also increase observation range.
