The Obsidian Dimension is a dimension added by MoreDimensions.
Entering and Exiting the Obsidian Dimension
Entering the Obsidian Dimension is similar to entering The Nether. However, the portal is activated with an Obsidian Igniter rather then Flint and Steel.
Similar to The Nether, when entering the Obsidian Dimension another portal is auto-generated within the new dimension.
The Obsidian Portal makes noise, like the Nether Portal.
Landscape
The Obsidian Dimension's world generation is similar to The Overworld, but it generates Obsidian rather than Grass and Dirt and Stone.
Environment
Like The Overworld, the Obsidian Dimension has a sequence of day and night, but without rain.
Mobs
There are no mobs implemented in the Obsidian Dimension yet.
Trivia
- Obsidian Dimension's other name is the Vulcan Dimension, because it generates Obsidian and Lava lakes with a world generation similar to a lot of Vulcans.
