The Porcelain Barrel is a block added by Ceramics. It is used to store fluids. It can be expanded upwards with Porcelain Barrel Extensions. Barrel Extensions increase the capacity by the same amount that a single barrel can store per block, and there is no limit to how many Barrel Extensions can be used on a single Barrel.

The storage capacity of the barrel is configurable in the Ceramics configuration file. By default, it can store 6 buckets (6,000 mB), but can be set to any number of buckets between 1 and 100 (1,000 mB and 100,000 mB).

The Porcelain Barrel can output a redstone signal to a Redstone Comparator dependent on how full the Barrel is (including with Barrel Extensions). As of Ceramics version 1.2.0, the level and fluid can also be determined by right clicking the barrel which will display as a message above the hotbar.
