The Precision "Laser Engraver" is a machine from GregTech 5. It is the only machine in GregTech 5 capable of making chiseled blocks out of their smooth counterpart. This can be done also by using a File on a Crafting Table, but the machine won't wear out, although it consumes energy. To make chiseled blocks, along with the block to process, a Glass, Diamond, Ordo or Dilitium Lens, which doesn't get consumed in the process, has to be put in one of the two input slots.
In addition to this, the Precision Laser Engraver is necessary to produce high tier circuits, as it is required to get Etched Wiring.
If Applied Energistics 2 is installed, it can be used to craft the Inscriber Presses. However, it has to be noted that, to create such Presses, Extreme Voltage or higher is required. The process consumes prohibitive amounts of energy, thus it is suggested to use this machine only if the player can't find Presses in the Meteors.

Like every electric machine in GregTech 5, the Laser Engraver comes in 5 variants, one for each voltage from Low to Insane.
