The Pressure Valve is a machine cover added by GregTech 6 that vents surplus fluids from a fluid pipe.
Whenever the installed pipe is filled to its maximum capacity, the Valve will vent all contained fluid from the pipe. If the fluid is in a liquid state, a tank must be placed adjacent to the valve to collect the surplus. Otherwise, fluids in a gaseous state will be vented into the air and deleted. Gaseous fluids that are hot enough will damage any nearby players or entities when vented, so care must be taken when working near steam pipes with installed Pressure Valves.
