The Red Stringed Container is a block added by Botania. It is used to transfer items in a short range.
The container can face any of the 6 directions. When placed, the container will face the player and bind to the first inventory in a straight line within 8 blocks. It cannot bind to other Red String blocks. The connection can be seen when holding a Wand of the Forest.
When inserting or extracting items out of the container, it acts as if it was the bound block.
