Reika, also known as ReikaKalseki, is a mod author and has multiple degrees in aerospace engineering. Based in Toronto, Canada, he is the developer of many mods including DragonAPI, RotaryCraft, ReactorCraft, ElectriCraft, ChromatiCraft, Expanded Redstone, GeoStrata, TerritoryZone, MeteorCraft, Void Monster, Cave Control, CritterPet, Useful TNT and LegacyCraft. There is no overall theme describing all the mods, though his tech mods follow the principles of realism, and both they and ChromatiCraft largely center around the idea of the player finding their own way and figuring things out themselves. He also makes mods for other games, mainly Factorio. His Factorio mods can be found here.
