The Repeater is a redstone circuit added by Project Red. It is a logic gate for complex redstone circuits. It delays the transmission of an incoming redstone signal to a set amount of time (see Usage).

Usage[]
For an easier usage, NEI and WAILA could be installed, which show the input and output on the Repeater.
The Repeater has one input side and one output side for red alloy cables, redstone, an adjacent circuit, machine, lamp or anything that can be controlled with redstone signals.
The Repeater forwards a reaching redstone signal on the input side, only after a certain time to the output side.
The amount of time can configurate by right-clicking on the Repeater and is represented by a small lever on the gate. The delay can be carried out in 9 levels equivalent to 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128 ticks[1] (10 redstone ticks = 1 second). The mod WAILA shows the selected delay time in ticks.
Using the screwdriver from Project Red, the orientation of the gate can be changed freely in all four directions.
