The Rune of Augmented Capacity is a rune added by Blood Magic that is used in upgrading the tier of the Blood Altar. This rune can be used in place of other runes, and can work along side each rune in the upgrade process.

The Rune of Augmented increases the capacity of the Blood Altar by 1.075 per rune. The Augmented Capacity runes apply after the regular Capacity runes.

It is most efficient to make:

• 9 Runes of Capacity, followed by as many Runes of Augmented Capacity as needed, or
• 11 Reinforced Runes of Capacity, followed by as many Runes of Augmented Capacity as needed, or
• 2 Runes of Capacity, followed by as many Reinforced Runes of Augmented Capacity as needed, or
• 5 Reinforced Runes of Capacity, followed by as many Reinforced Runes of Augmented Capacity as needed.

If cost to reinforce both is the same, The last option will result in the highest capacity.

Minecraft 1.8/1.9

The Rune of Augmented Capacity adds 10% extra LP. Each 10% bonus is multiplied on top of the current capacity (not including the Rune of Capacity bonuses, which are added afterwards). The final LP capacity is:

$\text{Capacity}= (10000 \times 1.1^N) + (2000 \times M)$
where $N$ is the amount of Rune of Augmented Capacity and $M$ is the number of Runes of Capacity.

Runes of Capacity are more efficient, although with 15 Augmented Capacity runes the player will surpass the amount gained from the base runes. This also increases the tank's internal buffer as it is always 10% of the altar's capacity.

Minecraft 1.7.

The Rune of Augmented Capacity adds an additional 2,000 LP storage potential to the Blood Altar. This also increases the tank's internal buffer as it is always 10% of the altar's capacity.
