The Sacrificial Knife, or the Sacrificial Orb, is one of two ways to generate LP in the Blood Altar. The Sacrificial Knife is used as a self-sacrifice method, allowing the user to convert their health points into usable Life Essence. To take health from other creatures in return for LP, sacrifice methods such as the Dagger of Sacrifice must be used.
If the user of the knife is a Vampire, their blood will be drained rather than their health.

When IDontLikeFun in section wimpysettings of the Blood Magic config (AWWayofTime.cfg) is enabled, the Sacrificial Knife is replaced by the Sacrificial Orb. The two items are exactly the same, but the Sacrificial Orb is meant for hemophobic users.

The Sacrificial Knife/Sacrificial Orb is created by casting 1000mb of Blood in a Blood Altar
Usage[edit | edit source]
By right clicking the Sacrificial Knife next to a Blood Altar, the user will lose a full heart and place 200 LP into the altar. This amount can be further increased by placing Runes of Self-sacrifice around the altar.
