The Sink is a block added by Cooking for Blockheads. It is used to provide an endless supply of Fresh Water, although it can be configured via "cookingbook.cfg" to require Water to be piped in. If it is connected to a Cooking Table Fresh Water will be used in recipes despite not physically being in an inventory.
