i do realize it says contact on forums with corrections and suggestions, but i just wanted to jump it and get it fixed, then i added to the guide, so yeah i fixed the huge error thats been their for over 8 months(i checked the history) and well i just did stuff, however due to emulation issues(and me not wanting to wait 10 mins for miny to startup) i didn't test my code, so their "may" be a issue or 4 like bad syntax and stuff, i will test it tomorrow at some point when I'm not asleep with my eyes open. -- The Blue Troll Trolls again ;) (talk) 15:08, 21 December 2013 (GMT)

Syntax Highlighting[]

There is a plugin on this wiki called SyntaxHighlight GeSHi. To use this, surround all code with <syntaxhighlight lang="lua">code</syntaxhighlight>. This highlighter is to be used with all ComputerCraft program examples. -- AgentTadpole · Staff talkcontribs 05:23, 22 December 2013 (GMT)

thank you, i will definitely use that as syntax highlighting would definitely help read the code, and i 'might' make a seperate section or guide focusing more on the explanation of the Lua parts and less of applications. ie explaining the IF <condition> THEN <code block> ELSE/ELSEIF <code block> END, and go more into the building and using of it, instead of showing how it would be used in a program. I'm not saying its a better way for a guide, think of it more like a cheat sheet for the parts of lua. -- The Blue Troll Trolls again ;) (talk) 12:59, 22 December 2013 (GMT)
Not required, that's my current project, feel free to help out though. As it is, the ComputerCraft wiki does a more than excellent job of this, meaning there's no rush for it. -- AgentTadpole · Staff talkcontribs 00:24, 23 December 2013 (GMT)
well the computercraft wiki is dedicated to computercraft, and of course they will have a better guide, but im aiming for a simple guide and maby some useful examples. --The Blue Troll Trolls again ;) (talk) 00:35, 23 December 2013 (GMT)
