The Tatara is a machine added by Better with Addons. It is used to make Kera, Teacups and is part of the process to create Finished Tamahagane and Finished Hocho-Tetsu.
In order to work it needs to be placed in a specific structure. Once assembled, it works exactly like a Furnace, except it can only process its recipes, which take 50 seconds each, and can only use Rice Ash as fuel, which burns for 1 minute 20 seconds.
