This templates display a or an depending on the input.

Parameters

1: Input used to determine whether to output a or an.

Examples

{{A|apple}} apple, {{A|banana}} banana

produces:
an apple, a banana

You can use parser functions to turn the first character to uppercase, for instructions on how to do that, see MW:Extention:StringFunctions.
