Template-info.png Documentation

This template provides grid icons for all of the 16 standard colors in Minecraft. This template functions exactly as expected in a crafting grid. This is intended to save typing time and reduce the possibility of errors.

Parameters[edit source]

  • 1: The format string. Use %{color} to indicate where the color should be placed. For example, Mystical %{color} Petals would be used for Botania's Mystical Petals.
  • 2: (Optional) Set to force animation utilizing {{N}}.
  • mod: The same as the mod abbreviation in {{Gc}}, used for all 16 grid icons.
  • link: The same as the link parameter in {{Gc}}, used for all 16 grid icons.
  • dis: The same as the dis parameter in {{Gc}}, used for all 16 grid icons.
  • amount: The amount of the items (number displayed on icon). Defaults to 1. Used for all 16 grid icons.
  • desc: The same as the desc parameter in {{Gc}}, used for all 16 grid icons.
  • title: The same as the title parameter in {{Gc}}, used for all 16 grid icons.

Color override parameters[edit source]

Each color's replacement can be specifically set. This is useful when a specific color does not follow the same name scheme. For example, Minecraft's white Wool is not "White Wool", but simply "Wool". It is also useful if a mod uses a different English dialect for colors (e.g., grey vs. gray). This list also documents the order of the colors in the grid list.

  • white (Default White)
  • orange (Default Orange)
  • magenta (Default Magenta)
  • lightblue (Default Light Blue)
  • yellow (Default Yellow)
  • lime (Default Lime)
  • pink (Default Pink)
  • gray (Default Gray)
  • lightgray (Default Light Gray)
  • cyan (Default Cyan)
  • purple (Default Purple)
  • blue (Default Blue)
  • brown (Default Brown)
  • green (Default Green)
  • red (Default Red)
  • black (Default Black)
