Icons[]

Should the Navbox Item for this page show icons for Ores (if applicable) or icons for whatever the material's most commonly used form is? PaladinAHOne Staff (talk) 21:24, 23 March 2015 (UTC)

I reckon we should use common form; so pretty much ingots for metals and for fluids just use the fluid tile. --Wolfman_123_ · FTB Wiki Staff 21:42, 23 March 2015 (UTC)
I was actually thinking of using the Bucket form for fluids when applicable. PaladinAHOne Staff (talk) 06:40, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
Can't we just get the decided upon form regardless of if the base mod adds the material of that form, through GT? So it really doesn't even matter. -- SatanicSantaFTB Wiki Admin 07:24, 24 March 2015 (UTC)
It was brought up in IRC yesterday (by Retep998) that the {{NI}} calls should use commonly identifiable forms for their icons. While GregTech does add literally all of them in some form (in as much as the list was built from the GT5 Material Dictionary enum), the GregTech forms of many of them are not the forms used in other mods' recipes.
Which from a standpoint of readability makes sense. PaladinAHOne Staff (talk) 08:13, 24 March 2015 (UTC)

Retep998 where should we put metals that are not elements or alloys, e.g., Gilded Iron? -- SatanicSantaFTB Wiki Admin 02:02, 3 April 2016 (UTC)

Food Item's[]

I really believe that the small list of food items doesn't belong in this template. Honestly this template is more metals and other raw materials. I also believe this because once you even consider pam's mods we'll probably near triple the size of this navbox if we actually include all of the foods. --Wolfman_123_ · FTB Wiki Staff? 23:40, 6 October 2017 (UTC)

@Retep998: are the food items necessary as part of this template? -Xbony2 (talk) 23:46, 6 October 2017 (UTC)
They are materials according to GregTech 6, and each food material has a selection of standard GT6 oredict items, so the answer is yes, unless we change the definition of a material. 🐇Retep998🐇🐰Bunny Overlord🐰 00:23, 12 October 2017 (UTC)
