The Toad is a creature added by Witchery. This creature is neutral when initially spawned, but will become friendly when tamed by feeding it Rotten Flesh. Once tamed, Toads will follow their owner, unless told to sit by right-clicking on it. Tamed Toads can be healed by feeding them Rotten Flesh. Two Toads will breed if they are fully healed and are fed Rotten Flesh. A tamed toad can be dyed by using the dye on it. A Rite of Binding can turn a toad into a Toad Familiar. Toads have 10 () health points unless it is a Familiar, in which case they will have 50 ( × 25) health points. When slain, a toad may drop Slimeballs and Toes of Frog.
Creation[]
The player will need:
- 4
Critter Snares - a
Cobweb - 4 small Slimes
- an Ocelot
- 4
Grasspers - a charged
Attuned Stone - 3
Mutandis Extremis
Toads are created through slime/ocelot mutation. First, four small Slimes must be captured in Critter Snares. Then, these Snares must be placed on each four sides of a 1x1 Water pool. On top of the Water pool must be a Cobweb with an Ocelot trapped in it. Then, four Grasspers must be placed diagonally away from the water, or right next to the Critter Snares. In one Grassper must be a charged Attuned Stone. In the other three, there must be Mutandis Extremis. Finally, use a Mutating Sprig on the Cobweb.
