Welcome[]

Welcome to the Feed The Beast Wiki, the number one wiki for modded Minecraft ^_^ (or at least number two and competing). If you're interested in contributing, feel free to look our Getting started guide. -Xbony2 (talk) 13:52, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Okay. I mainly use the Technic Launcher, and Tekkit Lite, so I don't know that many mods. LordofEditing (talk) 20:36, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
This wiki is more of a general modded Minecraft wiki than an FTB wiki, so you are still welcome here :P I'm probably the only senior editor that touches FTB. Gosh, Tekkit Lite is rather old, but documentation of older versions of mods is important since they very rarely get attention over newer content. If you want to play with newer content though, I can whitelist you on the wiki's official (but somewhat inactive) FTB Infinity Lite 1.10 server. -Xbony2 (talk) 21:47, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
I don't even... What the FTB Infinity Lite? BTW, my content may be old, but BuildCraft still is one of the modpacks I love. Engines and piping and associated are my specialty. LordofEditing =(Talk)= 21:56, 11 December 2016 (UTC)
FTB's current main 1.10 modpack (6 major Minecraft versions later than what you are using >.>). It's much different from Tekkit Lite I suppose. -Xbony2 (talk) 22:00, 11 December 2016 (UTC)

Deletion[]

For deletion requests in the future, add {{RfD}} to the top of pages. It has a weird name, I know (I didn't make it! :P). I'm gonna make {{Delete}} redirect there I suppose. Btw, there's a useful list of all [or at least most] of the templates here. -Xbony2 (talk) 22:34, 22 December 2016 (UTC)

RfD, what an interesting name. Alright then, I shall use that template. I'm just used to other wikis using the {{Delete}} template. LordofEditing =(Talk)= 23:50, 22 December 2016 (UTC)
It was copied from Wikipedia. The guy who did most the base structural stuff for this wiki was heavily inspired(/copied heavily :P) from Wikipedia, although I personally think "Delete" makes more sense for the template name, but eh. -Xbony2 (talk) 00:49, 23 December 2016 (UTC)
It means Request for Deletion. -- SatanicSanta🎅FTB Wiki Admin 06:26, 23 December 2016 (UTC)

Plagiarizing[]

Do not plagiarize (copy) from other wikis (in this case the Unofficial Wiki). As according to our Manual of Style, it is strictly prohibited. It's something we are very serious about. This is only a warning; future plagiarism may result in a block. I've deleted your articles Transfer Node (Energy) and Transfer Node (Hyper Energy) in accordance with policy. I'm sorry if I come off as a bit of a jerk about this, but like I said it's something we take very seriously. -Xbony2 (talk) 11:48, 24 December 2016 (UTC)

Advanced Repulsion stuff[]

So, if this Adv. Rep. Management was a different mod from Advanced Repulsion Systems it would be listed on Immibis's downloads page. I think that page is safe to delete. -Hubry (talk) 22:58, 8 March 2017 (UTC)

Okay then. -- Preceding unsigned comment was added by LordofEditing (talkcontribs)
The top result for "Advanced Repulsion Management" on Google is our article. It appears that mod does not exist, and Advanced Repulsion Systems is the right name. I'm going to delete the former page. -Xbony2 (talk) 01:09, 9 March 2017 (UTC)
