ACG/MOS[]

Please read Project:ACG and Project:MOS. Creating headers like this: =Example= should not be done. That header level is for the title of the page, you should have used ==Example== instead. -- AgentTadpole · Staff talkcontribs 12:44, 4 January 2014 (GMT)

Sorry, I am new to writing wikipages and HTML. Won't be doing it again. BTW, when writing on the wiki, do you use this or a program, which converts it to wiki-form? For example, I wanted to update the Mod Pack Version Matrix and that is virtually impossible for me without some form of help. Do you know a way to change Lever/Redstone Torch Crafting bench error Basic Logistics Pipe and to get rid of the 1/2 under the crafting table? --Newnottakenname (talk)
No problem, those pages should tell you anything you need to know. If you're unsure of anything, feel free to ask me on my talk page, IRC or the forums.
I don't use a program, I usually just look at the code. Don't think any staff use WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editors.
The redstone torch/lever thing is because of the ore dict system, so you need to bypass that system. You can write {{Gc|Redstone Torch}} to do so. The 1/2 at the bottom indicates two crafting recipes specified, that is because you've put {{G|Gold Gear}}{{G|Redstone Golden Chipset}}, which the wiki interprets as two recipes. This is intended and there's no reason to change it. I'm midway through writing a guideline for the crafting grid system that may help you, but you shouldn't assume it's 100% accurate: User:AgentTadpole/CgTutorial. -- AgentTadpole · Staff talkcontribs 15:18, 4 January 2014 (GMT)
Thanks! I will have to get use to it then :) By getting rid of the 1/2 I was thinking, that there might be a way to display it, as the torch/lever thing. From your reply I see, there is not. The guide looks good and easy to understand. Thanks again. --Newnottakenname (talk) 15:41, 4 January 2014 (GMT)
I'm glad it's understandable, I wasn't sure if what I was writing actually made sense to anyone other than me :P -- AgentTadpole · Staff talkcontribs 15:47, 4 January 2014 (GMT)
I've just talked to Jinbobo, as it turns out it is possible to do this, using Template:N. I'd explain it here, but it'll take up too much space. I'm adding it to the crafting grid guide, should be there in 24 hours. -- AgentTadpole · Staff talkcontribs 14:45, 5 January 2014 (GMT)
Awesome!
WYSIWYG editors doesn't produce good readable wiki text when it comes to adding templates and tables, even the official wikimedia VisualEditor does not handle the creation of tables and some other stuff. -- 13:33, 5 January 2014 (GMT)
