The Weak Blood Shard is a component used to upgrade a Blood Altar to tier 4, and to craft Bound Armor through the Soul Armour Forge. The Weak Blood Shard is used as a crafting component in the Empty Socket, Arcane Pedestal, Armour Inhibitor, Energy Bazooka, Key of Binding, Large Bloodstone Brick, and Reinforced Teleposition Focus.

In order to obtain a Weak Blood Shard, a hostile mob must be killed while under the effect of the Weakness debuff, which can be inflicted with the Bound Blade. Weak Blood Shards can be duplicated when combined with a Master Blood Orb and an Imbued Slate.
