The Windmill is a block added by Immersive Engineering. It is used to generate Redstone Flux (RF) when connected to a Kinetic Dynamo.

Building another Windmill of any type in close proximity (up to 7 blocks in front of it) will reduce its speed.

Windmills (0.12-76 and earlier)[edit | edit source]

The amount of energy produced depends on the altitude the Windmill is placed and if it is raining or not.

The power output can be improved by crafting an Improved Windmill.

Power output[edit | edit source]

Windmill[edit | edit source]

Y Level Clear Rain Thunder
0-69 4 RF/t 5 RF/t 8 RF/t
70-100 12 RF/t 16 RF/t 25 RF/t
101-150 15 RF/t 20 RF/t 31 RF/t
151-200 18 RF/t 25 RF/t 38 RF/t
201+ 25 RF/t 33 RF/t 50 RF/t

Windmills (0.12-77 and later)[edit | edit source]

The amount of energy produced no longer depends on the altitude of the Windmill but rain and thunder still increase power production.

The power output can be improved by right clicking the hub with Windmill Sail. You need 8 to improve it to maximum power.

Power output[edit | edit source]

Windmill without sails[edit | edit source]

Clear Rain Thunder
11.85 RF/t 15.80 RF/t 23.94 RF/t

Windmill with 8 sails[edit | edit source]

Clear Rain Thunder
35.55 RF/t 47.40 RF/t 71.82 RF/t
