XOR gate

TypeSolid block

The XOR gate is a redstone circuit added by RedLogic. It is a logic gate for complex redstone circuits. It emits a redstone signal, depending on the number of incoming signals (see Usage).

The circuit would be possible with Vanilla redstone mechanics, but this block reduces the size of the circuit to 1 block. This makes complex circuits cleaner and easier to control. In electronics, this gate enables the physical execution of the boolean function "XOR (exclusive OR)".

Recipe[edit | edit source]

Usage[edit | edit source]

The XOR gate has two input sides and one output side for redstone devices. The orientation of the gate can be changed freely in all four directions by using a Screwdriver.

If a redstone signal enters either input side, a redstone signal is emitted on the output side. If both or neither input sides receive a redstone signal no output signal will be produced.
