The Band of Mana is a bauble added by Botania. When worn, it is able to store Mana like the Mana Tablet. It can store 500,000 Mana.
The durability bar represents how much Mana has been stored in the Band and not the item's actual durability; another bar can be found above the player's hotbar showing durability in more detail. The band can also be upgraded to the Greater Band of Mana, which can store four times as much Mana.
To equip the Band of Mana, press the "B" key to open the Baubles inventory GUI, where the player can equip the band in the Ring slot. It does not need to be equipped to provide the player with Mana.

This recipe will preserve Mana stored in the tablet.
