The Compressor is a crafting machine added by GregTech 6. It is used to craft plates into dense plates and some gem dusts into crystalline plates, plus a handful of IC2 Compressor recipes.
The Compressor is powered by kinetic energy or KU provided by an engine.

Usage[]
The essential use of the Compressor is to craft a dense plate from either 9 plates, 3 triple plates, or a block of plates. It can also craft meat "dust" into meat "ingots", plant matter into plantballs, some gem dusts into crystalline plates, clay dusts into solid clay, ice shards and dusts into solid ice, and a handful of miscellaneous recipes such as slimeballs into slime blocks (with Et Futurum) or wheat into hay bales.
